Honestly, if a hot girl has 2000+ friends and some random guy starts messaging for attention, she will ignore you.

You basically have 2 options

1) Go for girls who seem lonely, spend a lot of time online, and don't have tons of friends (you could also say this is the same as going for girls in the back of the room at dances who want someone to come up to them).

2) Come up with a way to make yourself seem amazing unusual and extraordinary, for instance NOT telling someone with a tons of admirers that she's "pretty". 2 is a bit harder to do, and requires amongst other things a lot of confidence.

There's a book written called the game by neil strauss that everyone uses as a bible for this (it's really easy to download online).

Regardless of which you chose though, keep in mind that most people are really lonely and want people they can talk to.
